Gold plating

Gold plating is a method of applying a thin layer of gold on to the surface of another metal, usually copper or silver, by electrochemical plating. Gold plating is often used for decorative purposes (jewelry, religious detail …) and electronics, as it provides corrosion resistance and excellent conductivity, typically for electrical connectors and printed circuit boards.

Material or product, which will be golden plated must be clean and free of dirt, corrosion and other defilements. Gold plating is offered on racks or drums. Treatments vary depending on the type of material and the requirements of our customers. At any galvanization process our clients are advised on the best treatment according to their requirements.

All workpieces – items are first cleaned in ultrasound and fats free in degreasing tanks. Then, follows activation of the material in a variety of salts and acids. Thereafter, workpieces may be treated. At the end of each electroplating process is followed by washing and drying.
